One Of My Rewarding Experiences Here At COEM

It is easy for me to write this because each and everyday has been a rewarding experience for me here at COEM speaking with potential new patients who are seeking another way of treatment to help them with various illnesses such as chemical exposures, allergies, auto immune diseases, hormones and other diagnoses.

I have spoken with many patients over the past five years who travel from all over the United States and out of the country in desperate need of our treatment because they are looking for another approach in getting well.

As an example, when I speak with a parent of a child who has been recently diagnosed with Autism or has developmental delays, I have the opportunity to offer them an appointment that will not only give them a new treatment plan but also the emotional support that they may be longing for because I am also a mom who has a older son with special needs and I can relate to searching for other resources.

I have learned over the years that having other resources and finding another person who can understand may be the best support that you can find. Parents are especially relieved and hopeful to know that there is another treatment plan that can help their child and also another person with whom they can speak and relate.

I may not always have the opportunity to speak with a parent on a daily basis that has a child with special needs, but the support is always available either by phone or in person no matter what their diagnoses may be.

A kind word of hope and direction may be the very thing that a patient and/or a parent in desperate need are searching for at our center. It goes without saying how much we really care about our patients here at COEM. I have learned with experience and from one of my favorite sayings that:

“When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.”

I hope that for those who read this and are searching for help that they know there is another approach to getting well. Please know you are not alone and there is help along the way.

  1. Just wished to point out I seriously enjoy your work on this blog and the good quality blogposts you make. These type of post are usually precisely what keeps me going through the day time. I uncovered this post right after a good friend of my very own recommended it to me. I do a little blogging and site-building myself personally and I am always pleased to see others giving high quality data to the community. I will absolutely be following and now have bookmarked your web site to my personal myspace account for others to check out.
