PERSONAL LETTER FROM DR. LIEBERMAN

Dear Patients and Potential Patients:

After experiencing complex physical and mental problems, many of you have been looking long and hard for a physician who can help you. Other physicians may have tried the usual and customary but have been unsuccessful. Although others may not have been able to find the reason or cause for your health concerns, that doesn’t mean “there is nothing wrong with you”.

The Center for Occupational and Environmental Medicine is based on the specialty of Environmental Medicine and the philosophy that one doesn’t just get sick but is made sick as a result of the myriad of adverse exposures from our environment. These environmental triggers include the air we breathe, the foods we eat, the water we drink, and the chemicals that pollute them. Although avoidance of the trigger is the most effective way to get better, we have learned to use some wonderful tools of allergy/immunology, nutrition, and toxicology to treat these environmental disorders.

We invite you to explore this website to learn more about our treatment protocols, our staff, and the city of charleston.

Sincerely,

Allan D. Lieberman, MD
